For the purposes of applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR), VisitPerks acts as the "Data Processor" for End User information processing on behalf of Merchants. VisitPerks acts as the "Data Controller" only with respect to Merchant account data.

We collect information to provide better services to our users. The types of information we collect include:

For Merchants (Business Owners)

• Account Information: Email address, business name, and password (hashed and secured).
• Business Details: Reward settings, loyalty rules, and staff access configurations.

For End Users (Customers)

• Contact Information: Email address (used solely to identify the customer and track their progress).
• Loyalty Data: Visit history, points accumulated, and rewards redeemed at specific businesses.

We do not sell your personal data. Data sharing is limited strictly to the operation of the service:

• Merchant Access: End User loyalty data (email and visit count) is shared with the Merchant associated with that business to fulfill the loyalty program.
• Service Providers: We may share data with third-party vendors who help us operate our website and conduct our business, provided they agree to keep this information confidential.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
